Soap and Glory sets are way too popular in the beauty industry, and in all honesty, i've never really understood the hype around it. I've noticed with beauty products that most of the time, things are brought because of their name, rather than their quality. But since receiving a Soap and Glory set for Christmas, i thought i would finally give it a try!
The first one, as you can tell i use a lot, is 'The Righteous Butter', which is basically a moisturising cream. I love the little instructions running around the edge of the lid, because i'm useless at understanding the use of most lotions. But this moisturiser is so soft to apply and smells scrummy! I use this every single day with my skincare routine because it really does do the job, and lasts all day. I must say, this is definitely a keeper and rebuy for me!
Next is the 'Flake Away'. You may notice below that i haven't actually tried this yet because i don't really understand what to do with it. The lid says to massage the cream in, except it looks more like an exfoliator, since there are small grains of god knows what mixed in there as too. The colour has also put me off as well, which is a shame because it may actually be a good product. If anybody knows how to use this, do let me know, and let me know if it is any good before i agree to use it on myself.
Lastly is the 'Girligo' spray-on body mist. I was half expecting the spray to turn me even more of a ghost because of the colour in the bottle, but i'm happy to say it doesn't! I've only used this a few times, and i'll be honest, i haven't seen much of a difference. I don't know whether i'm putting too little on, or if my skin is moisturized enough anyway. Though i like the smell of this too, so i'll continue to use it anyway, just to make me smell yummy. haha.
Let me know below what you think of Soap and Glory, and whether or not you think it is a tad overrated like i do? I'll continue to use the products, but i'm completely unsure whether i would buy them again, other than the body butter that i've now added to my daily routine.
